From dawn ‘til dusk. That was how long 23 P&A volunteers labored under the sweltering heat of the sun last September 27, 2003. No, they were not sent to the penitentiary to atone for their lates and absences but because of a worthy cause — the fifth project of PAUSE (P&A for a Cause) for the year.

Never too busy to P&AUSE
PAUSE joined the Rotary Club of Makati Salcedo (RCMS) during its annual outreach program at the Senden Home for homeless boys last Thursday, March 27, 2003. Senden Home was founded by Fr. Francis Senden, CICM and operates homes for homeless boys in Paco, Manila and Binangonan, Rizal.
P&AUSE on its 3rd cause
Noble intentions defied bad weather as PAUSE (P&A for a Cause) launched its third project for the year last May 31.Despite the downpour caused by typhoon Chedeng, P&A volunteers trooped to the pediatric charity ward of the Ospital ng Maynila to distribute snacks, storybooks, coloring books and crayons to its patients.

P&A for a Cause (P&AUSE) launched its first project in General Trias, Cavite last Saturday, February 22. PAUSE is an organized way for P&A people to get involved in the enabling of non-government, private voluntary and people’s organization into a sector capable of delivering development initiatives.
